How to get 2 landlord leads in 10 minutes

Are you ready for a good news story?

It’s about an awesome Senior Property Manager, Lyn, who had a day where the office phone lines went down, but she took the opportunity to create some new business leads in about 10 minutes.

In fact, Lyn sent 14 emails to a bunch of potential landlords who had totally stopped taking her calls and was ignoring all her emails, and within 10 minutes, two of them replied and said they wanted to talk to her on the phone or in person about managing their properties.

Now, before you think that Lyn is the “exception to the rule” and that you couldn’t achieve results like this yourself, let me tell you this…

❌ Lyn had NEVER used this strategy before.

❌ She only spent about 5 minutes writing the email.

❌ She didn’t even expect to get results from this strategy.

So what DID she have?

✔️ She had a proven email template to get results.

Yep, that’s right.

And seriously, she sent 14 emails and got 2 landlords respond within 10 minutes wanting to talk about her managing their properties.

Here’s how she did it.

Let me introduce you to my wonderful client, Lyn.

Lyn run a decent sized team, overseeing hundreds of properties and a team of 5 other staff.

But that’s not all.

Lyn is also responsible for the growth of the department.

And she’s good.

Her conversion rate is excellent, and her track record is brilliant.

And I first met Lyn when she joined  my 10 Week Transformation program in October last year.

She worked through the modules in the program, but it was one particular strategy I teach, called the 9 Word Email that worked like a charm for her the other day.

Here’s the story, in her own words:

 

“I had been chasing 14 prospective landlords, who hadn’t been taking my calls or responding to my emails.  They had gone completely quiet.

Then one day, when the phones were down, I decided to send the “9 Word Email” that Ellen taught me and I was impressed with the results!

I had one prospective landlord contact from 18 months ago reply to the email to say “no thanks”, I had one landlord from 2 months ago email back to say he is coming into town on the weekend and would like to meet up, And another landlord call me within 10 minutes of the email going out to let me know the house they are building is still 4 – 6 weeks away and asked me to call back in 2 weeks!

A much better response than I expected!”

 

And you know what…

I was talking to Lyn the other day and she told me she’s signed one of those managements up already and opened up conversations again with 3 other landlords!

But what excites me about Lyn’s story, is that she didn’t really have high hopes for the email, but she just gave it a go.  She followed a process that has been proven and she got results so very quickly.  I mean, like results in only 10 minutes!

If there’s one thing I want you to take away from Lyn’s story, it’s that you don’t need to have high expectations, you don’t need to have used a particular strategy before, and you don’t even need to think it will work.

You just need to give it a try, and see the results for yourself!
