There are plenty of articles about writing blogs, and I’m certainly no blogging expert, but I’m here to tell you that there’s value in writing blogs – so much value in fact, it surprised me.
Here are three reasons I’ve discovered that writing blogs is valuable:
1. I’ve discovered that I have a whole bunch of knowledge in my head that I’ve never actually written down.
We all have our area of expertise, so why not document it?
2. It’s quite therapeutic. I mostly write blogs for business, so my topics are about starting Rent Rolls generally.
But sometimes, I just write whatever comes into my head!
Of course, I don’t publish those ones on my website – but it’s so freeing to get that stuff out of my head.
3. You can multi-purpose your blogs.
Once you’ve written it, you can use it for inspiration for a video (VLOG), for sharing on your social media, include it in your email newsletters and so much more.
Once you’ve written a blog, it has so many purposes!
If you haven’t started writing yet, why not give it a go?
You’ll probably get better as you go and you don’t have to publish everything you write.
Don’t wait for perfection, just get started!
