So today is the final part in our series on Working Virtually in Real Estate and it’s all about routine!  If you’re going to work from home, or a café, or a shared work space, I think it’s important to have some sort of “work routine”.  For me, I used to get dressed in my business attire, do my hair and makeup and be in my home office by 9am each morning.  At the end of each day, I’d clean up my desk, turn off my computer and close my office door to signify that the working day was over, and my home life had begun.

Working virtually doesn’t work for everyone, I know that.  But if you’re boot-strapping a start-up real estate agency, I recommend you give it a go.  Save yourself a fair bit of money in the beginning, give yourself some more flexibility about where you work from and maximise the technology and systems that are available to our industry.
